About VCN

Keeping Namibians in the game long after the first-class years

Veteran Cricket Namibia exists for one simple reason: cricketers do not stop being cricketers at forty. What began as a handful of club sides playing weekend fixtures around Windhoek has grown into a national masters programme with a selection pathway, a training calendar and a place on the international stage.

What we do

  • Select and prepare the Namibia Over 40s national side for international masters competition.
  • Run domestic veteran fixtures and festivals across the country.
  • Keep experienced players connected to their clubs as coaches, mentors and umpires.
  • Represent Namibia within International Masters Cricket, the global body for over-40s and over-50s cricket.

Guyana 2026

The IMC Over 40s World Cup runs from 17 October to 1 November 2026 across Georgetown, Berbice and Essequibo in Guyana. Sixteen nations play seventy-two matches over fifteen days, split into two zones of eight. Namibia has been drawn in Zone A alongside West Indies, Australia, Wales, Sri Lanka, Canada, South Africa and Colombia.
